I think the Aleman makes a good point re: Jolls being at Wealdstone just a couple of weeks ago. That may also be an advantage to Wealdstone as they would know how to play against him. But saying that I'd probably start him. My line -up would be; Scriven Murray, Page, KES, Ebsworth BWG, Kennedy, Kav, Griffiths Dundas, Jolly

lol people getting confused the only change in the back 4 would be to put muzza at right back in place of downer

it may also have something to do with Jols being a wealdstone fan, it's no secret. his inteview with theha1.co.uk following his return to stones on loan indicates he may be looking for a permanent return in the summer. www.youtube.com/user/watchtheha1?feature=mhum#p/u/8/x-qm_vk4I5Ewhatever happens on saturday, jols is assured of a heroes welcome. the rest of your players aren't fit to lace his boots given their antics at GGL a few months ago. we dont forget.

That was an interview done on his first week back - any player sent out on loan has doubts when they first go. Theres no indication there that he wants to go back - he joined Sutton specifically because he wants to win the Ryman League title. And as it stands he's at the best club to achieve that, and take part in it.
You may not forget, but please remember that some of your fans were not 'saints' that day, I'm sure our players just want to go to yours and play the best they can. And us supporters too want to enjoy the day out. Can we just be a bit adult and move on from that?

jols says:
"everyone knows how much i rate this club and how much I like playing here. it was difficult to leave in the first place before, 6 years ago, and it will be difficult to go again. thats what the agreement is and if sutton want me back, i'll go back to sutton. no problem at all. and then we'll see what happens in the summer".

If Sutton get promoted this year (and nobody at the club is taking that for granted) then our manager would need to consider which of the current squad he wants to retain for the Conference South campaign. Richard Jolly has been a prolific striker in the Ryman League, but not every good player at this level can make the step up.
That may have been at the back of Jols's mind when he made the comment quoted above. I'm sure we'd like to see him play at Step 2, but (as far as I know) he's not been much tested at that level.

I don't care who plays as long as we win!
Carl Murray will play at right back but who will take Murray's role in front of the defence?

Where in that quote is Jols expressing his major desire to return to Wealdstone in the summer?

think kennedy will screen the back 4, dos will then either start BWG on the right of midfield with kav in the centre and start with 2 of dundo, forbesy and jols up top OR drop dundo into midfield leaving kav on right and leave forbesy and jols up top

Any player I have ever heard states that they wish to play at the highest level possible, win medals, and in the case of a striker win the golden boot. I do not think 'our' Mr Jolly will have anything other than that on his mind tomorrow. Stones also have to remember that the very same terrible, despicable manager back in November was the same one who sanctioned Jols loan move to them. I am sure like all players and managers, options will be looked at after the season, wise words indeed from Richard, never burn your bridges
