signed the petition,iv'e always had a soft spot for Leyton Orient.I think it dates back to the time when they managed to get into the old First division, although it didn't last long.

Petition signed. The way the Olympic authorities went chasing the Premier League cash was disgraceful and the lack of support from the F.A for the position of Leyton Orient shows at best, a lack of understanding of the problems facing lower and non-league clubs or worse still, a total disregard for their situation.

I won't be signing. I worry for Orient. Is Hearn going to use their FA Cup cash to fight this when it could be spent on something better? This worries me greatly. I'm not sure that Orient have helped their nearby smaller clubs in the past but now they want some assistance because the Hammers are moving nearby. They're pretty close together anyway so I'm not sure it will make a huge amount of difference.
The West Ham bid is the logical choice. If Spurs moved there Palace may have gone under but they may have some hope by developing the athletics stadium in the future. Something needs to be done with the stadium and it makes sense to have regular use of it by a club with a good fan base otherwise Leyton might as well play there.

I think the fear is West Ham will move in and then slash their prices to fill the stadium, making it less viable to support Orient.
Spurs have a waiting list for season tickets meaning if they moved their they wouldn't slash the prices. I believe Hearn supported the Spurs bid.
I'm not sure how Spurs would have any impact on Crystal Palace.

To an athletics arena and not for football so Palace won't be able to move there. How can we have an Olympic stadium without an athletics track. It was a crazy idea from Spurs. They have the permission to expand their stadium with the odd consultation to be approved which won't be a problem. They will also improve the area and the various train/tube stations so it has to be a big boost for the area as lets face it it's a shithole

Spurs plan would'nt have an impact on palace, unless they are definetly moving,as part of the spurs plan was to upgrade Crystal Palace sports arena. As a Palace fan I am not unbiased and was hoping that West Ham would win the bid as a Spurs win would have ruled out a new stadium for Palace. Anyone's who's been to Selhurst Park will know how desperately it's needed. As for the O's, I can't help feeling that Hearn just wants to use this as an excuse to relocate the club to Harlow or somewhere. Brisbane Road is less than 4 miles from Upton Park - you'd have thought that any prospective O's fan who was going to be tempted by West Ham would already have been. Like most other people (based on attendances) I am not much interested in athletics, but winning the Olympic bid based on the legacy for the sport then removing the athletics facility would have been an outrage.
