Seems like the right time to start this thread..... The way it is at the moment we will be playing the following for sure Bromley Havant & Waterlooville Dartford Weston-super-Mare Basingstoke Town Staines Town Hampton & Richmond Boreham Wood Dorchester Town Although the last 3 of those are not mathematically safe yet, they've got a decent enough cushion not to be too worried. Plus all but 2 of the following Braintree Town Farnborough Ebbsfleet United Welling United Woking Dover Athletic Chelmsford City Eastleigh The least likely we will play is Braintree, 4 points clear at the top of the BSS And at the bottom, 2 of Maidenhead United Bishop's Stortford Thurrock Lewes Add to that list Eastbourne and probably Histon (depending if they get shunted into the BSN) And possibly 2 from Truro, Hednesford, Leamington, Chesham, Salisbury and Cambridge City (again depending on regional balance) Looks like we are seeing a lot of old friends from years gone by! Start taking your bets for the Xmas fixture - Will it be Hampton? Woking? Or even K's

We will be going to Truro a little too late. When they were changing premises my brother in law had the keys to the old Skinners' brewery with permission to drink anything he wanted !

Just a quick footnote re Truro City. Currently, there is a train from Paddington to Truro at 7.30am arriving at 12.36. Return trip is 18.24 arriving back at 23.39. Return fare £79. Might be an idea for somebody to contact Great Western Trains when the fixtures are announced and do a block advanced booking for, say, 30 people. You may get this trip for around £30 per head. You would need to move quick to get it any cheaper. Can't imagine a coach running to this!
2011/12 looks very supporter friendly to me with some potentially excellent days out!
Congratulations to everyone at SUFC on the championship. Fully deserved IMHO for everyone on the board, the players, the supporters and everyone connected with the club. We raised a few glasses last night at the cricket club too!

Flybe.com run a service from Gatwick to Newquay.... Already been spying up prices. For about £5 more than the train, you can fly down. Sod the train for that one. Unless it's a sleeper!

Is there a 'league cup' in the Conference leagues? Mark Its been lacking a sponsor for the last 2 years, so it's not been held. It previously has come under many names, but as the Bob Lord Trophy, it ranks as our highest honour (back in 1991 beating Barrow over 2 legs) Our last appearance in it was against Woking I think?

Thanks Andy K,
So it will probably be just the three cup competitions next season (FAC, FAT, SSC).
I am surprised a Conference league cup is not sponsored by the leagues' sponsor itself (Blue Square Bet).

I am surprised a Conference league cup is not sponsored by the leagues' sponsor itself (Blue Square Bet). There's no interest from fans or the clubs. Even the last time there was a League cup & they put up silly prize money, no one really gave a toss. Plus all the rounds were so strictly regionalised, you knew who you had before they even drew it. Which devlaued it even more. Pointless comp.

If Bury or Lowestoft get promoted with us, one possibility is that the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire clubs go into the North division and Gloucester City get moved sideways into the South.

I thought Gloucester had a 3 year guarantee that they wouldn't be moved to the Conference South? Or I could be imagining that........

Remember of course we start later in both the FA Cup and Trophy - one round later in the Cup and 2 rounds later in the trophy - meaning the FA cup wont kick in till late september and the trophy in november

I'm hoping for Truro and Leamington to come up, otherwise there will be no new grounds next year!
