That we were going to win the league? For me, I've been pretty confident all season but some of January performances knocked my confidence, especially considering other teams had several games in hand. But after the win over Tonbridge I really believed that we this was our year.
When did the rest of you begin to properly believe that this was our year?

The 2-0 away win against Cray was important for me. We'd had that rather dodgy spell in January, but this was our third straight victory and so really strengthened our position at the top. And it was our first away win against another leading side. (We'd won at Canvey but they were only just above mid-table at that time.)
The result at Hayes Lane set the tone for some key matches through February, culminating in that fantastic win at Tonbridge. After that it was just a question of avoiding too many slip-ups.

Not until we beat Bury and the mathematics started to look very good - remember the previous week we'd drawn at completely hopeless Aveley. Up to then I thought we might get dragged back into the play-offs lottery. I'm generally a glass-half-full person, but I've been watching football for too long (particularly as a Sutton & Palace supporter) to believe it's done until Two Ton Tessie O'Shea walks onto the stage.

Probably Tonbridge for me as well. Very tight game that we deservedly edged.
Think it finally convinced me we had the mettle to last the distance. That and other sides behind us regularly chucking points away.

Honestly? When we lost to K's in the semi final last season. I know that sounds stupid, but I've had that belief all the time. Other 'milestones' which added to it were
* Signing Dundas and Jolly. A pure statement of intent by Dos. Dundas in particular as he's one of those rare players that can suddenly change the game * Going 5 games without letting a goal in at the start of the season. * Losing at Ks when totally outplaying them. Made me realise that some of the teams in this league which were title challengers needed luck to do us * going out of the two least important cups early - no distractions * seeing our first choice XI at the start of the season. Force to be reckoned with *Seeing our last home game of the season being against Bobbins, and how fate could play a hand * The mid season signings of Ebs, Murray, Forbes and Griffiths. All of whom came and delivered * Beating Bury - had a whiff of "Aylesbury" about it all

Tonbridge away for me which seems like a popular choice. I also look back to when Dos announced the date for the managers Q&A which was going to be just after a run of games that included Cray and Tonbridge away. I thought he was pretty confident then as he had also just sent Jolly out on loan and the atmosphere would have been very different if we had lost both of them.
I left the night of the Q&A feeling pretty confident about this season

as i've said in other threads when we beat tonbridge iwas saying we've won the title,i don't know why because i'm not usually that confident ,it was just a feeling i had and although i say it myself, they're never usually wrong.
