Well obviously us, and provisionally Folkstone and Croydon (subject to other clubs not folding etc), but who will join at either end.
Top end has been as complex as ever - some teams are finding it difficult to do the job. The worst offender at the moment seems to be Bury Town, who have not won since they laboured to a 1-0 home victory against relegated Croydon. Their fall has been so dramatic, they have fallen out of a play off spot today by losing at home to Maidstone (albeit with a 93min penalty). To make it worse they face an in form and back to 2nd place Lowestoft side, who will make certain of a play off place if they beat Bury on Monday. Depending on other results that day, that could all but prevent Bury getting a play off spot. With the only other team who can do it (Kingstonian) having 2 straighforward games against Tooting and Margate, its up to the others to get the results they need. A win and a draw for Harrow, Tonbridge and Canvey will see them all in the play off slots, and all of them play teams pretty much whose seasons are over - Except Tonbridge who host a relegation threatened Hastings (see more below)
My prediction is now the 4 teams in a play of position should be the 4 that are left at the end of next weekend, and pretty much the same positions too so in that case
Lowestoft V Canvey
Harrow V Tonbridge ( a repeat of today, which Harrow won 2-0)
with Lowestofts great home form, its getting harder to see beyond them joining us and getting promoted - of course where they end up is uncertain yet!
At the bottom end its a little easier. Horshams win today leaves them pretty safe, so its now 2 out of Maidstone, Aveley and Hastings. AFC Hornchuch have a big day in what happens, as their last two games are against Maidstone and Aveley. Maidstone also have Folkstone this weekend, and Hastings have got Tonbridge on Monday - then the match of the season at the bottom - Hastings play Aveley on the last day of the season - it could be a winner takes all!
