Odd that our season is bookended by Maidenhead - both first and last game of the season. Bath away in April though And a Sunday fixture (H&Y on 2nd Nov)

Thanks Paul Wealdstone for Christmas. Really?! Could be worse, it could have been Staines or Boreham Wood........ Bromley have Concord, which is worse. I would have put Concord with Stortford and BW with Wealdstone leaving us with Bromley but I'm not the Conference. Wealdstone isn't actually too bad for us given that it's accessible via London transport on a day when trains don't run. For me personally it would be easier than a home game if I do my usual Christmas trip and fly into Heathrow

I think that's quite a tough start for us.

Better a tough start than a tough finish
Of course we won't really know until we see how the season pans out. a team that underperformed last season might overperform this season, you never know

Bath away in April though Bath in April is excellent apart from the fact I have two sisters with birthdays in April (19th and 29th). The season before last we were away to Bath on April the 27th and I wanted to make a long weekend of it but it was the closest weekend to my sisters 30th birthday so had to attend her birthday celebrations instead. This coming season we are away to Bath on April the 18th, the day before my other sisters 30th Birthday. I still haven't been to Bath for a football match and that doesn't look like it will change this season.

Are the Conference on drugs? WSM away on Sunday 4th Jan? What the f*** is that all about?

How odd - I had to miss my mum's 60th to watch an away game at Bath in 2008!
In fairness, she changed the date at the last minute from the Sunday to the Saturday and I'd already arranged my travel.

Thanks Paul Wealdstone for Christmas. Really?! On our fixture submission we requested Bromley, Bromley normally request us, too.

That would have been far too sensible for The Conf Millsy.

Bromley ending up with Concord is a bit of a joke too. Seems they've denied us and Bromley a nice local-ish game as well as Wealdstone v Boreham Wood which is about 6 miles as the crow flies, for the sake of putting BW with Stortford (further than Wealdstone for BW anyway). Bromley is the closest of those places to Canvey Island, but there isn't much in it. Stortford have done Conf North; surely they wouldn't have minded a trip to Concord

Actually 3 games this season are due on a Sunday (mainly due to the xmas holidays). That has to be some record?
