Thanks Paul Wealdstone for Christmas. Really?! Could be worse, it could have been Staines or Boreham Wood........ Like everyone else who wants fixtures near them at certain times, I wouldn't have minded Staines over Christmas.

Like last season? That made things easier for me personally because I had to catch a flight from Heathrow immediately afterwards, but not for everyone else.

Having been a league fixtures secretary it is a problem but I must say the Bromley fixtures at Maidenhead and Concord over the holiday periods seems a little odd - so who are we to complain?

If we do make it to the FA Cup first round this year, the fixtures are a little kinder to us.
We play Stortford at home on 4q day, and Eastbourne at home the date of the 1st Rnd.
If we get to the 2nd round of the Trophy, we'll lose our Saturday away game at Gosport.
The League and FA have seen sense this year and have kept 2 saturdays free per cup competition free rather than the farcical situation last year which ended up having us play 3 of our 4 furthest opponents away midweek due to cup games.

We best not talk about how many times Gosport got moved!
