Tonight's games: Dorking Wanderers 3-4 Colliers Wood Westfield P-P Redhill To be strictly accurate it was Redhill P-P Westfield, rather than Westfield P-P Redhill !
Redhill haven't been able to play a home game at Kiln Brow since October 21st. Not only have they had a number of postponements due to the weather, but they've had to bring forward away league fixtures because their pitch needed some urgent work done to it. They must be desperate for some matchday income.
Anyway, the Surrey Senior Cup game has been hastily rearranged to be played at Westfield tonight, although that's got to be in doubt as well with all this overnight and morning rain.

Redhill do get a fair amount of income from hospital car parking so its probably not as bad as it sounds.I'm hoping to get down there on saturday if their match goes ahead.

Cheers for that Amberchoc, I only looked at the County website then the Westfield twitter page and as the match was at Westfield I naturally assumed they were the home team.

In case you are not aware, there is a planned bus strike on Tuesday, and it is due to affect the companies that run buses in the Sutton and Croydon area. Trains and roads are likely to be busier and best you allow extra time to get to the game.

If you are getting a bus to Redhill, you will need to catch a 430 or 435 to Merstham.Best to get a train from East Croydon which will stop at Merstham.

It'll be interesting to see what team we put out on Tuesday. Louis John could turn out for the reserves at Banstead tomorrow (as long as there's know rain before tomorrow afternoon) so he may get a run out. There are some rumours of a mid season re shuffle, so maybe a couple of new faces. As this is our only real chance of silver ware this season, I quite expect a quite strong team to be announced.

The weather forecast leading up to Tuesday evening is pretty awful. Heavy rain all day Monday and all through Monday night with showers on Tuesday. The pitch at Merstham normally holds up quite well, but I'm not sure it'll cope with all that chucking down on it. My money is on the game being postponed for a week.

Clear skies over Merstham now.Best guess is that it will go ahead providing there is no more heavy rain.

Best place to park is in South Merstham .Then walk along the alleyway alongside the ground.
