Wow! Means 3 of the last 5 Eastleigh managers have either managed (Dos), coached (Baird) or played for (David Hughes) us!
It's someone Dos knows and trusts, and certainly has a decent track record at this level. Welcome Ian

I'm happy to trust Dos's judgement here. It's obviously better to have somebody with coaching qualifications at the club.
However, Ian Baird is not a popular figure in a certain quarter of Hampshire! He controversially walked out on the manager's job at Havant & Waterlooville early in 2007/08 to join Eastleigh, and was followed by a number of players (including Tony Taggart and Tom Jordan). So there could be a tasty reception for him when we play at Westleigh Park in January.
