PRUDENTIAL RIDE LONDON London, Surrey 100 Sunday 2nd August In aid of St Raphael’s Hospice, Sutton United’s chosen charity for the last 2 seasons. I’m doing the sponsored 100 mile London/Surrey bike ride and I’m riding for St Raphael’s Hospice. The ride starts at the Olympic stadium and winds its way down into Surrey via Kingston. The Surrey section takes in Leith Hill and Box Hill before passing back through Kingston on the way to the finish on the Mall. All the money I raise on this ride will be included in the total so far raised by Sutton United for St Raphael’s. Please help me push the total we have raised so far, even higher. My just giving web site is www.justgiving.com/john-parker9Thanks to everyone for their support John Parker

Good luck with the ride John. It seems the weather will be a lot kinder for you this year.

While I'm on here, can I just say a very BIG thank you to all of you who have supported me in this. If I didn't have a big enough incentive before, I sure have now.

Thanks you all for you generous donations. Today's ride has added £620 to the total raised by Sutton United for St Raphael's. To represent St Raph's and Sutton United was a real privilege. I completed the ride in 7 hours 24 minutes, that won't have Bradley Wiggins quaking in his boots but I was very pleased with it.

I was in Kingston this afternoon and managed to watch the ride for awhile. I can see it inspiring lots to take on the challenge next year.
