Make no mistake, the new pitch looks magnificent but have you thought of what we will be missing?
Groundsman coming out with a pot of paint to mark the penalty spot during the match.
Demonstrating how little work a player has done by how clean his kit is.
Being able to blame a misplaced davit when your striker skies a shot.
The sweepstake for how long into a rain sodden game before the ref abandons it.
The keeper kicking the goal post to dislodge some mud.
Pontificating why your star winger was brilliant in September but rubbish in January (might still happen)
More sand than Blackpool beach.
Groundsman , at half time, replacing davits (whilst carrying a garden fork)
Keeper picking a handful of grass to test the wind direction.
Opposition manager complaining the grass is too short/long.
Watching a lofted ball stop dead when it hits the ground.
Under hit back passes to the keeper. (probably will still happen)

It will be weird playing in the rain and seeing everyone's kit staying clean!

Imagine the managements faces if someone helpful soul decides to fork the pitch at HT

The Hayes and Yeading tactic of destroying the pitch as much as possible before the game will no longer work...

(probably will still happen) You forgot goalkeepers marking and extra line in line with the penalty spot on the six yard box, or kicking up a divot to place the ball on for a goal kick.
