Having watched the highlights I'm now even more livid about that penalty. What an absolute disgrace. If Kaye had an ounce of decency about him he would apologise to Dos and the club. But of course he won't.
Can I suggest that the penalty award be uploaded to YouTube on its own, perhaps with the heading "Worst penalty award ever?". Hopefully Kaye would then become the biggest object of ridicule within the entire footballing community.

Wasn't there on the night so can only judge by the highlights but in my mind all of the yellows were fair if you are applying the letter of the law apart from Worner's for the pen which wasn't a pen, Collins for time wasting, as you can't blow up just as he is about to kick the ball, and their players 2nd yellow for the sending off.
As for the goals moving. It looks like Worner has already missed the ball before he falls back onto the post so not sure how you can blame it on that. However posts shouldn't move at this level of the game. It just looks mickey mouse.
That same goal frame also moved for the Truro chance they thought went over the line earlier in the game.
The highlights are out of context as it doesn't really show the stuff the ref didn't give on the night that might have warranted a booking etc so if the club does appeal the sending off and Worner's yellow I hope they send the whole video to the FA.

I'm not saying SUFCtv edited the footage between the first and second whistle but I heard the ref blow the whistle at least 3 times, possibly 4 yet there are only two blows of the whistle on this footage. Therefore the ref blew the whistle prior to the footage and this hasn't been shown. Collins must have taken some 30-40 seconds before he decided he wanted to take the kick

Yep, Ross had clearly dropped the ball before he started wheeling the trolley back down to Tescos. That's cleared that up at least.

Why was the ref wearing Truro kit? Or maybe the Truro players were wearing referee's kits! I watched Celtic v Malmo last night and Malmo had dark blue shirts, the ref wore a yellow shirt because they clashed.....DOH! were you watching Mr Kaye?

Terrific and fair highlights and most of the bookings shown were ok but I don't believe it was a penalty but should have been for the push on Vassell at the end when he got a 2nd yellow
I don't believe you can appeal yellows so the 2 one game bans will stand & I do think your chap took too long on the free kick so perhaps a player who hadn't been yellowed should have been taking the "slow" free kick.
Still not sure about how our 2nd went in but your keeper must have felt the goal moving as he was catching the ball so I would give him the benefit of the doubt that he wad distracted - don't forget the excellent saves he made.
As for Ivor's comments on our forum, you probably only have to read them twice a season!!
He's a great guy who loves his football and always has an opinion which is what makes it fun & he'll be pleased that you're reading his comments!

Great guy? I do hope he is joking because if that is what he thinks he has seen on the highlights then I am afraid the fella needs sectioning for his own good and indeed that of everybody else.
We can all have an opinion on everything but sometimes when your opinion is so wide of the mark with regards to the presented evidence, it is perhaps best not to air it.
Ludicrous. Perhaps he should move to Essex and spend his evenings with Mr Kaye so that can both regale themselves in how accurate they are when it comes to making/reviewing refereeing decisions in football matches - a conversation NOT worth staying in for.

I doubt if he was joking but not many Truro fans are agreeing with him on our forum!
As I said we won't always agree but in this instance I'm with you guys although we should have had one later.
Hey ho, let's hope neither of us are subjected to such arbitrary decisions again this season.

You guys have supported our grievance for which we are grateful - but surely the rights and wrongs are entirely down to the despicable performance of the man in similar dress to your good selves who was incapable of even giving the slightest good common sense at a game which was played with tremendous spirit and good will - the maliciousness was non-existant in a sport for which physical contact is an integral part.

I was told by somebody in the know that the refs, in our league at least, must wear black. That doesn't explain why he never told Truro to change though!

I have been told that Truro usually where either Blue or White as a change strip. The shirt situation was the 1st mistake by an incompetent ref! - I for one could not easily pick him out and it must have given the Sutton players the idea that they were playing 12 men.

I have been reliably informed that Truro were forced to wear that kit - no reason given and don't know who forced them.
In the previous 2 encounters we have worn white and then a lot lighter blue.
Our first kit is red and reserve kit white this season, both of which I would have thought would have been acceptable so we were as confused as you guys and if it was the referee who instructed them then that's another matter that is baffling!
