You will tell me if I am wrong, but I think we have a 100% record against them in the FA Cup? We have met once before in the competition, going through 2-1 with 2 very late headed goals from John Rains to setup a 2nd round match at Swindon Town. Hows that for an old boys memory? Pretty appalling actually! We lost to them on penalties in the F.A.Cup about 12 years ago. I don't remember that one at all

Ross saving two penalties in a game followed by a reminder of the Andy Iga 'incident' at Stortford, think that was FA Cup

I don't remember that one at all Mark Watson penalty miss. Remember it well ! Mark Watson missing wasn't real helpful But I think I remember it now, I didn't go so I must have been at work, do I recall it was a replay after a 1-1 draw at out place??

Went to extra time & penalties if that's any help. According to the trusty Football Club History Database (which details our FA competition results over the years) in 2003/04 we drew the original game here 0-0 before losing disappointingly on penalties at the end of the replay as others have mentioned. Not the most interesting draw for us but a very winnable tie and at the very least we should be getting them back here for a replay.

Why at the very least?

Because some people on here seem to think that we should turn over most sides in this division because football is such an easy game to predict. Especially cup football.

Think we just have to be wary of the tie in my opinion - especially if we have Gomis missing owing to his ban - we'll miss his dynamism in midfield. Dos didn't sound to happy with the draw according to his post-Ebbsfleet notes on the website.

Gomis is not suspended for the game and probably won't be if there's a reply as our home game will be the Monday night, 13 days after the sending off (if my calculations are right!)

Dos didn't sound to happy with the draw according to his post-Ebbsfleet notes on the website. Your original post suggested we should be getting at least a draw. I wondered why given it was away to a side in our league with a similar record. Would think being dumped out is a real possibility and I'd reckon Dos wouldn't be unhappy with a draw.
