Thank you all for your amazing support at Aldershot and most recently at Bishops Stortford. We didn't expect the numbers Saturday due to the weather, but your vocal encouragement during the whole game was a real plus to the team. The players and myself would like this replicated at home. If the same crowd away from home stick together behind the goals at each end at GGL get the singing going from the start in much bigger numbers,it would improve the atmosphere and really help the team. I know there has been issues in the past about who stands where and for what reasons( including being told to be quiet!), but the team and I need you all together and singing non stop!!Would the shoebox fans move back to the ends? Those boys are the bedrock of the away support in many ways and I can't emphasise what a noticeable difference it is between home and away games.
Wayne and Bobby are working hard at getting new supporters to join us and enjoy a real football atmosphere, and many supporters who sit in the stands are getting scarves and showing their support through wearing colours, home and away.
We now have a ground and team to feel proud of,and you are as equally important as anybody. This is absolutely not a criticism of those that want to watch Sutton in their own way. As you know I'm a huge Saints fan who sings and shouts, and my brother who is equally passionate is somwewhat quieter!! To those, and there are many that feel they can improve the atmosphere at GGL by being vocal together please help in getting us in the play offs.
Thanks Dos

I was only there for the last, very cold, 30 minutes, but there did seem to be a vocal increase
