I hope we've started our usual post-christmas surge early!

Another Saturday and another windy day. This time U's used the slope with the wind on their backs scoring twice in the first 20 odd minutes. Great cross from Kevin and a lovely cushioned header from Fitch. His second was a simple finish after some calamitous defending.
Their goal was a foul on Worns (confirmed by the video)but set up a tense match either side of the break which saw both sides go close before Dan Wishart's vicious free-kick set up a nice finish for Skip.
No classic against a limited but well organised team who kept on going. Some baffling decisions from the officials, the ref failing to maintain a decent level consistency over a matter of minutes let alone the whole match.
Another away win, solid performance dented by Craig Eastmond's 5th caution (I believe) who otherwise had an excellent match along with the back four. We're scoring goals and looking decent at the back. Good habits.

Having seen the H&Y vine highlights on twitter it just goes to show that photos don't necessarily show the whole story. Worner is obviously impeded in the build up to H&Y's goal but that didn't show up in my pics.
Yeah, looks like his path to the ball was deliberately blocked by an opponent in order to give his colleague a free header on goal
