Thank you.
We will need it as they are a very good side at our level.
Hope both Sutton sides get positive results today.

Unfortunately we lost 3-0.
The scoreline doesn't reflect the match (as a 0-0 draw wouldn't have been out of place) on a surface that would of been called off by most Sunday Referees.
Disappointing but still a fantastic achievement for our small club.
Congratulations to Sutton United on another fantastic victory.

Bad luck, but well done on a fantastic run. That result at Eastbourne Town was really something.

This report on the non league forum is an interesting read. FA Vase Fourth Round Bowers & Pitsea 3 v 0 Sutton Common Rovers Adm: £6 Prog: £1 Att: 121 (red/white v purple) They finally got this game on although most were surprised when they saw the state of the pitch. It was still being heavily sanded just before kick-off. Ground is pretty decent for this level, especially the large clubhouse and covered seating on the near side. Clubhouse was showing the live feed from Setanta of the ManU v Saints game. Pitch seemed a bit of a leveller. The home side were big and strong, the away side tried to play football more on the deck as they are used to 3G but clearly here that wasn't going to work. I thought at half-time with the score 0-0 that SCR were the better side. However Bowers scored three in the second half to put themselves in the next round. Goals came in the 54th, 68th and 78th minutes, the first of which was thanks to the mud and the ball sticking in it. Not that SCR didn't add to things in the second half - they made the home keeper pull off at least two excellent saves but it wasn't to be for the side from Sutton. www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/forum/gforum.cgi?post=710463;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread
