There are a number of league games this evening that will have a bearing on the top half of the table:
Hemel Hempstead Town (8th) v Chelmsford City Maidenhead Utd (10th) v Dartford (6th) Truro City (5th) v Bath City Weston-Super-Mare v Maidstone Utd (2nd)
I'm a little ambivalent towards the result of Maidstone's match because, from a psychological standpoint, it may not be a bad thing were the Stones to win. Ebbsfleet's lead would be cut to just 7 points having played 2 games more and that might induce an even bigger wobble than they've been experiencing of late.
The bookies still heavily favour Ebbsfleet at 3/10 with both Maidstone & Sutton at a tempting 6-1.

Very good point - Maidstone winning oddly enough may do us a favour in the long run if it puts pressure on Ebbsfleet. The odd thing with the fixtures is that the Maidstone host Weston on Saturday.
I'll be watching Hemel, Truro and Dartford. I don't think the current 4 teams will be the ones in the play offs at the end of the season. Certainly I think any 2 of us, Maidstone and Ebbsfleet will be in there, but looking at the table, the other 2 spots are certainly up for grabs, and the end of season form of one of the ones that takes those spots could have a big impact on how the play-offs pan out.

From what can be said based on form and the league table Maidstone must have realised that they are in a title race as their results do indicate a level of change in their approach (thought maybe there are other factors at play). In the last eight games they have picked up 17 points (on par with most of the season) but have scored 16 goals and conceded 10. Considering that in the previous 24 games of the season they had scored only 24 goals and conceded only 16, it might not be too much to infer that they are playing less defensively than they used to, probably as a response to the need for wins to keep themselves in the race but also because of their vastly inferior goal difference. The good news for us is that we have conceded only two more goals than them despite playing attacking football, often being the dominant team and getting men forward.
Possibly looking too much into this...

Well seeing as we need to finish above Maidstone to win the league I hope they drop points. I get the pressure point on Ebbsfleet but quite frankly we've got a big challenge to finish above Maidstone. Don't see WSM taking anything though unfortunately, you never know though,

Well Maidstone took 9 minutes to do what we couldn't on Saturday.

Let's see if Maidstone's win spooks Ebbsfleet. Truro won again last night and are now fourth, just six points behind us with the same number of games to play. We might need to get something from our Easter trip to Cornwall to hold on to third place. In any case, if we can't overtake either of the Kent clubs then we can expect to meet Truro again in the play-off semis.

If my calculations are correct we need 19 points in our last 11 games to be mathematically certain of a play off place (out of a maximum of 33). This also means Ebbsfleet needs another 7 points to be in the same position.
Realistically, probably 11 points from the last 11 games would do it.

I think we need 15pts to be totally sure of a playoff spot, but as it is the whole thing is on a knife edge with Ebbsfleet still the favorites. One bad result now for any of the to 3 could be very damaging for their title hopes. If Ebbs lose one and we and Maidstone win, then the odds will turn away from them. With 2 chasing I think one will catch them. and in truth Ebbsfleet are not setting the world alight with their form. Likewise a result the other way is going to make it very difficult for the chasers.
There is a pole on another thread, I can't vote because I simply don't know???
