Season Ticket Update, best value local football season ticket around....
Early bird season ticket for £25 still available up to the 1st league game of the season (then goes up to £40) but it is now even better value due to the inclusion of North Greenford United FC into the league meaning that we now have 22 home games, working out at under £1 a home game.
As a bonus the season ticket also includes all home pre-season friendlies & domestic home CCL cup matches for FREE!! (Does not include FA or Southern Combination cup matches)
Season tickets will be on sale at our pre season matches or by email at scrsales@outlook.com so please grab one before they go back to their normal price!!
Sutton United Season ticket holders will still be able to enter our home league games for £2 per match this season showing their Sutton United Season Tickets at the turnstile but with the early bird SCR season ticket you save even more making it the cheapest season ticket around.
We are really looking forward to this coming season looking to build on our fantastic FA Vase run last season and will look to build a side that can push up the table.
Good luck to Sutton United as they are 1 promotion from the football league which is amazing.
Thank you,
Justin Salmon Sutton Common Rovers FC

"Saturday 16th July - Alresford Town - 7.15 KO"
I think Sam Doswell, Scott Munro and co. now play for Alresford Town, unless I'm mistaken - I'm sure I saw something regarding Otterbourne having folded or similar.

It was a real shame to see Otterbourne fold as they were a really nice well run club. With Alresford inheriting those quality players they will be a very strong side.
Our friendly against them follows the SU v Portsmouth friendly, so will be fantastic if some people stay on to watch it.

Combined Counties Constitution for this coming Season 16/17
Premier Division (23 clubs)
Abbey Rangers AFC Hayes Badshot Lea Bedfont Sports Bedfont & Feltham Camberley Town CB Houndslow Chertsey Town Colliers Wood United Epsom & Ewell Farnham Town Guildford City Hanworth Villa Hartley Wintney Horley Town Knaphill North Greenford United Raynes Park Vale Spelthorne Sports Sutton Common Rovers Walton & Hersham Westfield Windsor
With Sutton United travelling the length and breadth of the country to play away league games it's a great time to buy an SCR season ticket for only £25. Giving you local grass roots Sutton football (giving local players a stage to progress) while still supporting the infrastructure of being in your clubs home ground on away days that may be difficult to travel to.

I can appreciate you wanting to promote and back your club which is great but I must be missing the point here - don't you think our fans will be wanting to travel to as many away games as possible given the level of football that we now find ourselves at - it's not every season we're going to be visiting Tranmere, York or Wrexham.

It won't be practical, affordable or whatever else for everyone to go to every game, every week and particularly midweek; I think it's great that SCR are putting the info out there and it's clear that they've been thoughtful in the wording of their post. They're a part of GGL and support us in many ways, too, really don't see what your issue is and I'm sure you moaned about SCR posting on here previously, real shame in my view and I'm fairly sure whatever issue you have is isolated and not a view held in general, thankfully.

I think you have to see it both ways........there were, from what I understand, quite a few of our supporters who for various reasons ( cost of travelling to away games, or, they can't be away from home for long periods due to 'other' commitments ) couldn't get to our away games, and wanted to watch some football on a Friday night / Saturday afternoon so went to watch SCR Yes, there will be a lot a "new grounds" for some of our supporters, but if they can't travel, then what better option than to go to GGL rather than watch another team ?

Couldn't agree with you more Millsy. Good luck to SCR and hope they get a good response.

I was interested to read the news about Alresford Town. My mum lives in Alresford. Alas, I'll be travelling down to visit her on the evening of the 16th when SCR play them at GGL. But I might try to take in an Alresford Town home game next season!

Whilst I hate to agree with Millsy I reflected on SCR posting on here when the issue arose previously and decided I was fine with it. Justin is a good promoter of SCR but phrases his information on this site very respectfully. No problems from me

FA Cup & FA Vase Draws Today
We have been drawn away to Erith Town in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round (Saturday 6th of August) then the winners from that match will play Ramsgate away.
Alter last years FA Vase run we are exempt from today's Preliminary Round Draw and I believe we will enter the Vase in the 2nd Round.

Not to mention the fact that SCR pay us for use of the stadium so it is in our best interests to encourage them! Plus, when was the last time that our entire home support travelled to an away game? Wembley '81?
