So the first of our pre-season matches takes place tomorrow.
A guess at our squad:-
Worner, Gerrar, Amankwaah, Downer, John, Beckwith, Collins, Spence, Wishart, Bailey, Gomis, Eastmond, Dundas, Cooper, Burge, Stearn, Hudson-Odoi, Fitchett, McCallister, Wall, Wright.
Perhaps a couple of trialists that Dos was alluding too in last weeks video interview.
I wonder how strong the Fulham team will be.

............looking at the Fulham web site, it would seem that the first team squad are in Ireland to play Cork Fc would suggest that it will be a youthful looking Fulham eleven. Looking forward to the Portsmouth game.

If you weren't there, don't read too much into the final score. We had much the better of the first half and came close several times before Bradley Hudson-Odoi rifled us in front, on his debut in Sutton colours, after their keeper could only punch the ball away.
At half-time we changed almost our entire outfield team while Fulham kept most of their young starting XI on the pitch. Silvano Obeng almost put us 2-0 up with a shot that came down from the underside of the bar. But then Denzel Gerrar clumsily conceded a penalty which saw Fulham equalise. We lost momentum after that and conceded two more without looking much like getting back into the game.

Very pre-season today really, fitness more important than the result I suppose. First half was actually decent against what I thought was a weak opposition but second half lacked fluidity and we never looked like scoring after that one off the bar. Doesn't really matter, nothing to get worried about, on to next week against Portsmouth which I imagine could be fairly similar to today. It's only really by the start of August we'll begin to be able to properly judge performances

I wasn't there yesterday so thanks for the summaries AA and Johnnie. I won't read too much into the result as that's not what pre-seasons about, great to hear Hudson-Odoi get off the mark though (a good goal too judging by the video).
Any verdict on the trialists we had on the bench yesterday? Can't say I've heard any of them before.
Be good to see Worner, Bailey and Burge come back into the team next weekend and see what Alex Wall offers when he recovers from his knock.
