I think having a thread like this each month is a great idea.
Perhaps we could start a small supporters club award for each month? I think it would be great if the winner got to wear a gold bib or something similar (like the yellow jersey) to symbolise that they are the fans choice for that month. I'd be happy to contribute to such a scheme!
For me, Nicky Bailey. He is simply a different class. I feel that the two games we have lost have been because of Nicky Bailey (and not in a bad way!!). He was moved to RB against Solihull - after which we completely lost our shape and Solihull scored 2 goals (after being 1-1 before the switch). Secondly he didn't start against Chester and we lost 4-0 after a disastrous first 7 minutes where it is arguable, if he started, that may not have happened as we would have naturally been more solid.
Shout outs to Biamou and Stearn, both of which would have been my 2nd & 3rd. Biamou does such a good job up top when we are playing 4-5-1 and wins so many headers. Stearn is always looking to push us forward and does a great job getting us up the field.
Always hard to pick individuals out of such a good team. They have all played a part so far this season. Keep it up lads. #comeonyouyellows

Didn't there used to be a player of the month award? Or am I imagining that? Not sure if there was on or not, but SUFCtv is talking to the supporters club about introducing (or reintroducing) this for September. Too late for August but we think its a great idea  |

Didn't there used to be a player of the month award? Or am I imagining that? There was a player of the month award (instead of a man of the match award) which started in the 97/98 season and ended roughly when the Conference South started in 04/05 |
