So Dave F, are more barriers being placed in the GGL end because it’s already quite tight in there with only 3 odd steps left and not really being able to stand on the back row anymore..

No, not there, around the curved side.

I heard a rumour that the Hartlepool turnstile closed before kick off on Saturday and some irate Hartlepool fans came through the GGL turnstile. Surely the away fans should be able to get in if they are late? Perhaps the Stewards chatting through the minute silence could have dealt with this matter?

Hello. First post and all that but I've always 'lurked' and read threads and posts etc. I try to get to as many Sutton games as I can but as I live in the wealds if Kent it's not always possible. I was though, at the game on Saturday and the tables opened up at 5pm for tickets for the Aldershot game and I had to dash off because of a long journey home coupled with train commitments. I'm assuming I can call the club and have tickets posted to me like they did for Cheltenham last season?

Think I saw the gateman walk around well after k.o (couldn't say how long into the match it was but certainly not before). As for being able to identify said gateman, that's cos I know him.

I saw/heard said Hartlepool fans giving off after being admitted through the GGL entrance. It's was at least 10 past 3. The woman was pretty peed off, which i can understand having read a sign telling her to walk to the park entrance only to find it shut and have to walk back again

Thanks. But as I previously mentioned I live a fair old distance from Sutton. DaveF was kind enough to direct me in the right direction. Thank you though.

In fairness to that supporter who volunteers each home game at the Collingwood road/away end he is always very polite, positive, friendly & is a great ambassador for the club. I think a "15minute" warning is fair & perhaps needs to be better advertised to away supporters perhaps drinking at the plough or elsewhere - or surely the minority who r late can be allowed through the main gates & allowed entry into the away end.

Out of curiosity, while we're mentioning capacity, is there any plan to add in the extra 235-odd seats we'd need for the Football League (even if we don't go up)?

And another question: will our bar be open to away fans on the day? (A Shots fan has asked on the Conference forum.)
