He says pretty much what I think but I don't go to enough games to really pass comment on here.
I feel like we are drifting to mid table and the strikers might be working hard but they need to start doing what they are paid to do and that is put away their chances.
We are where we are thanks to the defence and since Tommy went off injured at Leyton Orient the attack has looked toothless. Maybe we have chopped and changed it a bit too much to have allowed anyone a real chance to build confidence but in reality the current front two have had enough games together now to have formed a partnership IMO.
It is a bit frustrating as you feel that if it clicked we could have a great team but it just doesn't feel like it is going to and I feel we are going to drift.
Obviously I hope this doesn't happen and we can get some bodies back and finish strongly.

Could just be the Sutton United Forwards Curse (SUFC).
I have lost count of how many forwards have come and gone without success in the last few seasons but they include. McQueen, Jeffrey, Harrison, Emmanuel, Drinan, Tubbs, Thomas Asante Fitchett and no doubt others I have forgotten. I have not included Biamou or Lafayette as they left when we probably wanted to keep them. Nor Cadogan as he was essentially a wide player.
Could it be the way we play? Bennett got a couple of decent crosses into the box yesterday but no one was anywhere near them.

The reality is that good strikers are in demand, and Sutton can't compete financially with many of our NL rivals. Williams is experienced, which is an asset, but I don't think has ever been a prolific scorer at this level. Touré is a talented maverick, brilliant one moment and frustrating the next. Kearney is showing promise, and, given a bit more game time, could be the answer to our goalscoring problems.

While I largely agree with most of your post, I think the one bit I'd take exception to is that the strikers "need to start doing what they are paid to do and that is put away their chances" - I think this would be a fair criticism if we were creating loads of chances and missing them, but I can only remember the Dagenham keeper having one shot to save on Saturday, and that came in the 91st minute from Kearney's shot. We're simply not creating enough at the moment, and I thought the substitution to take Dobson off, who was the one player who looked vaguely likely to create something, seemed strange for that reason - you can have as many strikers on the pitch as you like, but if there's nobody to feed them, it becomes fairly redundant. It's fairly insane that we're still in such a strong position despite having really struggled to create much for some time now, it's only Wrexham who we've beaten by more than one goal all season (and Boreham Wood who we've lost to by more than one, too) so it's not really a new problem. Credit to the defence, often patched-up, for giving us that possibility, but the midfield and attack need to come up with something new, I think.

Different formations and personnel have been tried this season but throughout the defence have stood firm. Beckwith could well have moved on when Clough joined but how glad are we that he did not. RD has been thrust into the team possibly low on match sharpness but also at left back where there is limited scope to create chances. That could all change if we can get a left back onto the pitch.
If we had played Mason at the back on Saturday the worst case scenario would have been a defeat but we got that anyway. Pushing Deacon forward might have provided the spark to have won the game. Just a thought. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
