Pre-season friendlies are there to be learnt from, especially defeats. if it were to be one of those, then the new management team learn and move on. It seems to be a fact that the worst the pre-season the better the actual campaign. Why? because we learn.

it does feel rather like anything which is not bolted down is heading down the A3. I'm off to the Isle of Wight in a couple of weeks, you need anything brought back?

One of ours who isn't going to Havant...
Aswad has signed for Ebbsfleet today. Is that the first player we've released/let go of that hasn't joined Dos or has stayed at this level?

Think it's pretty brave to sign for them at the moment. Wish him well, played very well for us. It will be hard to find a better replacement

Add Josh Taylor to the list! All the best to you Josh. Was hoping to wish you well in a move up the leagues, (Wigan?), but it wasn't to be. Still young and talented, so still time to progress, and all the best for your career, and thank you for your time with us.

Havant have today further added to their squad with the signings of Sam Magri and Danny Kedwell following the expiry of their contracts at Ebbsfleet. Judging by their signings this close season Havant must be fancied to bounce straight back next season.

Clear favourites with the bookies to finish top at 7/1. Arguably worth a flutter.

I see Ayunga got both H&W’s goals in their friendly win today.
