Eastleigh and Boreham wood away in the same week. That is definitely the fun week of the season..... That's the week every supporter books their summer holiday, right? Woking away on Boxing day. My Woking supporting friend says almost always their Boxing day fixture is a noon kick off. Let's see if that's the case this time round

There's a lot of away travel in the autumn, but we get eight of our thirteen long-distance trips behind us by late November and (barring postponements) eleven of them done by late January.
There may be an issue with Harrogate away on 28 September as that's during the World Cycling Championships, which will be based in Harrogate. Unless the match gets rearranged, expect fully-booked hotels and road closures.
Oh, and Stockport away is the day after my 60th birthday bash. That could be an interesting weekend.

In terms of the FA Competitions, the main possible disruptive rearranged game could be the trip to Chesterfield which clashes with the 3rd Round of the FA cup. The others are either home or reasonably close that a midweek trip won't be awful.

And that game at Wrexham is timed to finish just as the last train providing a decent connection back to London pulls out of Wrexham General station.🤨

Wondering how far we will travel this season (and how far other teams will). We're better off than Torquay!

As AA states train home doesn't appear to be an option. Thanks BT/NL.
Any chance of a live home league game? Nothing since Easter 2018.

Orient, Tranmere, Bromley (that Easter game) - have we had more home TV games than away ones in total?

The others are either home or reasonably close that a midweek trip won't be awful. Another with the potential for disruption is the Harrogate away fixture on Sat 28 Sept: this is one of three unvisited grounds for me (others being Fylde & Chorley) and I was initially pleased it fell outside of winter, however a friend who lives relatively close (Northallerton) informed me that there are cycling time trials for the Tour de Yorkshire all week and the Saturday race is due to finish at 3:45, meaning they'll all be flooding through a good hour before that.
Hopefully, the town can manage two sporting events on the same day. You'd damn well hope/expect so but worth keeping an eye on this one.

Looking at the map and I am not saying I have this right but possibility the station is on the race route.

The Tour de Yorkshire happened in May, so I don't think that will be an issue. With the World Championships, obviously there will be road closures and getting out might be harder than getting in because of crowds etc The station isn't on the race route Mark, if you look at the satellite map you can see it's all well to the west of the railway line and station. I would have thought it would be deemed too disruptive to block any access to the station.

According to the Harrogate website, road closures in place from around 0830 until 1710 on the 28th. Not sure the ground is on the route but the station area looks to be. These races attract big crowds so moving around as a pedestrian will not be easy.
The police may not want both events to take place on same day especially in the current h&s climate. We shall see.
