So it's not been too long since we last visited the Racecourse - in fact it was only 13 league games ago. Although we lost last time out, it was I think one of our better performances of 2019.
We've both only won 2 games in the league so far - Wrexham's 2 have been at home whilst our 2 have been away, and the sit a point below us having played a game less due to the wonderful wacky Scottish competition they are in. Odd start for them - in the last few seasons they've been pretty much top half constantly, but invariably score very few and let in even less. This season they've been much more leaky.
At this stage of the season, although we seem to be a lowly 16th, we sit 5 points off a play off place and 3 points above a relegation spot. Expect a lot of movement from us and others in the next few weeks. In other words, no pressure. Any talk about us being in a relegation dogfight (as mentioned by some across social media) is in the words of Mr Frake "Sensationalist tabloid claptrap".

Would like to clarify my comment quoted above was in response to a statement about MattG not as suggetsed. Too early to make judgements about anything.

Any added pressure on Matt Gray tomorrow will come from the presence of the BT Sport team, not from the travelling fans.
My recommended pub is the Bridge End Inn, Ruabon (5 Bridge St LL14 6DA). OK, it's not actually in Wrexham, but Ruabon is only about four miles to the south, and a mere six minutes by train from Wrexham General. A family-run free house with its own brewery (McGivern), it was CAMRA's national Pub of the Year in 2011, and hasn't changed much since. Expect around eight different ales from smaller breweries (though no food). On my previous two visits I've got into conversation with the amiable locals who include some Wrexham supporters. It's a few minutes' walk from the station.

How was the six hour wait before kick off?

Did anybody catch what BT Sport think our nickname is? Sounded like 'the Magrays'.

Absolute dire first half. Neither team look to have any quality going forward with both playing lone strikers and neither look like scoring.
Something has to change and someone has to be brave and go for it but I can't see that happening. It is all backwards and sideways passes.

At least it came alive in the second half and an away point is nothing to sniff at but a bit disappointed we didn't hold on for the 3 points.
We work hard and seem to take the chances we do create I just feel we need to create more of them.

Exactly. Just not creating enough to send the fans home happy. I'm happy with a point but so nearly 3 !

Poor game with two sides lacking any attacking intent. Good result if we start winning away from home but not holding my breath.

Sorry should be 'at home' not away from home.

I must be one of the only fans who didn't see the game (car broke down on the way there) . What happened with the penalty? Hear Eastmond handball on the line, sent off then a whole bunch of yellow cards.
