Have the league confirmed that only 3 go down yet? Anyone know? I don't think so but I believe Bury have applied to play in the NL next season. However I noticed on Flash Scores that they only had 3 teams to be relegated when I looked yesterday (it was 4 at the weekend). The BBC, Sky and Pitchero still have 4 teams to be relegated in their tables.

I guess that they should start in the NL North rather than straight in the Premier.

I guess that they should start in the NL North rather than straight in the Premier. Bearing in mind that the EFL is a closed shop I think in this case the National League should do the same so Bury can FO down the pyramid. If clubs voted for 3 up/3 down and 3G pitches I would be a little more sympathetic

The line 'watched with grimace their side succumb so easily' is positively Shakespearean. Having read the report in full, that is a work almost fatalistic in its pessimism. Strangely impressive.

I guess that they should start in the NL North rather than straight in the Premier. They should have to start at county level like every other club that's gone bust. Sick and tired of them playing the victims. None of their fans were complaining when they won promotion under false pretences with money they didn't have. This is the same club whose fans happily brandished a "Oyston IN, f*** your club" banner when they played Blackpool. They can rot as far as I'm concerned.
