A superb performance all round. Today looked like a side that was challenging for promotion rather than one in the bottom half of the table. Wrexham looked exactly like we did against Maidenhead earlier in the season. The key difference today was confidence, and we had it in spades today. Bearing in mind we had 2 key players out through non footballing injuries (I hope Harry and JC are well on the mend after Tuesday), others stepped up to the plate. Virtually every player was superb and worked brilliantly as a team and that 2nd goal!!! When was the last time we scored a counter attacking one like that? I thought Kenny had his best game of the season and the match showed the team unity. Even after the torrid couple of months we've had, I think it shows the effort and application the management team have put in, and they totally deserve full credit. When a team gets stuck in a rut, it's hard to turn it around and although there is some way to go, the difference is obvious.
What a very merry xmas!!

Fantastic. On 16/11 we travelled to face in-form Torquay. We were down the bottom, bottom of the form table and they were within 2 points of the top of the league. Little over a month later we’re 3 places and 4 points off them with the same goal difference. Funny old league. If we better their result tomorrow we will go past them. Not sure anyone would have bet on that a month and a half ago.
