At times I did wonder if the commentator’s were looking at the same game as me, and some of the other posters on this forum 🤷🏼♂️

I think the commentary suggesting we gave up possession discredits Yeovil who made it difficult for U's to keep the ball as they pressed well and moved the ball quickly when they had it.
However, like most defences they do not like being ran at and the 1st and 3rd goals were a result of David A and then Tommy W harassing defenders, winning the ball cleanly and setting up the goal.
Can't understand why the Yeovil players were moaning about either goal. Great forward play and not so clever defending.

With regards to what Brisfitboy? Mainly their comments re Yeovil’s goals, I got the impression that they were of the highest order whilst Sutton’s were from a lower class team.

For some reason the Yeovil players were moaning throughout the game and I think that set the tone for their play. Maybe they had a bad Christmas! Best attacking side I've seen down the Lane this season. Their use of the wings and keeping the ball in play (unlike most teams when they spread the ball wide) was exceptional.
