Although we stay 12th after Saturday's result, we are almost certain to be below that by the time we visit Stockport on 18th Jan.
Tomorrow night 15th placed Eastleigh play 17th placed Hartlepool. An Eastleigh win will take us down to 13th, as would a Hartlepool win by 3 goals or more.
Then on Saturday Hartlepool travel to Dover in the only league game of the day. A Dover win or draw will also knock us down another place as would a Hartlepool win either if they manage not to lose at Eastleigh or again win by a large margin. So we will be either 13th or 14th when we start our next league game.

Hartlepool beat Eastleigh 2-1 last night so for the moment we stay 12th. 3 teams on 39 points now, with us leading them on goal difference. The other 2 teams (Dover and Hartlepool) play each other at the weekend. A win for either of them drops us to 13th. A draw drops us to 14th.

Let's hope for a draw then. The fewer points gained collectively by clubs around us makes them all more catchable - I think there's more to come from this team.

For what it's worth, the Football Web Pages predicted final table currently shows us finishing 11th with 62 points. I think most of us would be quite happy with that!
The same table shows Chesterfield and AFC Fylde finishing in the bottom four (above Chorley and Ebbsfleet). 😁

A real shame there wasn't better footage of the Eastie sending off, I reckon he might of got off. There Fondop walks 20yards up to Eastie starts attacking him, then the camera moves away. If anything if could well had been no more then self defence?
The end of the footage shows Fondop trying to beat everyone up in the tunnel - He totally lost it.

Just before though it looks like Eastie treads on Fondop's heel. |
