I really do appreciate the efforts of the amateur commentators. It's not easy. But one small point (that's been nagging at me for weeks); the man's name is Beautyman. Not 'Bew-man'.
To a lesser or greater extent we all possess a glottal stop, in this neck of the woods. But sometimes the letter 't' really does need to be pronounced.

The letter 't' appears 3 times in Sutton United, and I would like to hear all of them!
(Makes a change from moaning about apostrophes, could ofs, and the like, doesn't it?)

I am very guilty of this. I don't pronounce my T's or indeed H's. It's not conscious and I've always put it down to my accent. When I yell "C'mon Sutton" it must translate as Su-on. Ho hum. I'll look forward to watching 'arrogate and 'ar-lepool in the future. Sorry, fu-ure.

I know I often drop 't's. I've been told that I pronounce 'great' as 'greay'. Or something like that.
But I think it's better to make the extra effort when pronouncing proper names.
I don't think anyone needs to be using RP to commentate, btw. I've noticed that Sol (for example), who's an excellent commentator, pronounces 'throw in' as 'fwow in'. It's just a question of combining your own accent and natural voice with sufficient clarity.
