If the Us hope to get a good result they should not rely on Halifax being as wasteful as Bromley were on Saturday. Fingers crossed the match will be on! The Halifax match preview can be found here.

Tonight's matches AFC Fylde v Notts County Barnet v Boreham Wood Chesterfield v Harrogate Town Chorley v Eastleigh FC Halifax Town v Sutton United Solihull Moors v Hartlepool United
A win will take us above Torquay, but regardless of results, we cannot move down a place today. Eastleigh visit Chorley and a win for them will still leave them at least a point behind us.

I guess it will be Barden & Milsom in the middle with Tom at right back.

Disappointing result against a very limited Halifax side. Hard to believe they are in the play off scrap. We missed Harry tonight just need a player who get goals.

Yes, out of all the sides coming to GGL they looked one of the most ordinary. Bit disappointing to be doubled by them but guess there will always be one or two like that. Nice run of home games now, hopefully we can pick up a couple of wins. They’ve played us at 2 good times, first when on a dire run and today when a bit threadbare. Side still competitive without John, Beautyman, Eastmond, Davis and Wright bodes well.

The table doesn't lie, this league is very tight from top to bottom, but the difference is finding that odd goal that grabs the points when you are not playing that great. I thought we did that Saturday and Halifax did that tonight, both games could have gone either way so 1 win, 1 defeat is about right.

Yup, Halifax become the first team to do the league double over us this season (both 0-1) though they barely deserved to win either game. Tonight's three points take them back to third in the table, which doesn't reflect terribly well on the quality of this season's National League.
As mentioned above, this was a patched-together Sutton side, Harry Beautyman added to the injury list carried forward from Saturday. Callum Kealy started his first game in Sutton colours, Tom Bolarinwa returning to the side at right back as Jon Barden moved into midfield.
The match itself was pretty forgettable, Halifax having rather more of the ball in dangerous areas but the Sutton defence keeping them at bay with relative ease. We though mustered very few shots on target, Kyel Reid again showing energetic approach play without any end product. Will Randall looked our best hope for a goal. We did look a bit more likely once Isaac Oloafe had came on for Kealy, but the later introductions of Ajiboye and Dundo didn't have much additional impact. We were undone by the concession of a late penalty as we defended a corner.
We stay 15th. With three of the bottom four losing tonight, our position has hardly weakened. One to write off and move on from.
I counted 32 in the away section this evening, though those did include Messrs Eastmond and John. Marginally up on Fylde.
