Season ticket offer

Many people will be impacted financially because of what is presently going on and in light of that, I have decided to make the following offer.

For 3 deserving supporters, I will provide your season ticket at no cost to you. 

Applicants can nominate themselves or another person and all you need to do is send an email outlining your need. Please send these to Dave ([e-mail]). Dave has kindly agreed to forward these to me but he will also remove any identifying references/names etc. I will make the selection based on the content only and then he will inform the recipients.

I only access this forum so would appreciate if you would share this on Twitter/facebook etc so as many people as possible who might be struggling to make ends meet can hear about this.

Thanks to Dave and Bruce for their help in setting this up and being willing to assist.

I hope this will benefit  3 fans, returning or new, who might otherwise not be able to get down the lane.

What a lovely gesture. I for one won't nominate myself. I think that may be you should offer your donation to fans that deserve it. As in the ten that went to Barrow on a dark and dank Tuesday night.

I would say that people like Sallycat and the guys who are admin on here deserve it more. People who go wind, sun or shine.

It’s open to anyone and we set it up so that I have no idea who is applying, all you need to do is email Dave with your reasons.

That's very sweet but 1) I've already bought mine and 2) I wouldn't want to take one from someone who can't afford one. That's the whole point of the offer - for people who are being hit hard financially at the moment and otherwise wouldn't be able to go to football once it restarts.

I trust it was. All I meant was that people make a momentous effort to watch Sutton and whoever does deserves a season ticket more than I do.

Mind you, I have just made a vat of chilli and am about to give it out to the homeless people in Tunbridge Wells.

Great effort!

This way is better for the club though, isn't it. People like me will buy season tickets anyway. If you give them away to someone who could afford to buy their own then the club sells fewer.
