Okay, so we are all getting used to this staying at home business how. What are people doing to distract themselves ? Friday, at the 2nd attempt (don't ask!), I opened a virtual pub. Yesterday some of the club officials and SUFCtv crew had a sweepstake on the Virtual Grand National, which raised almost £150 for the NHS. Weren't the graphics amazing? Later today, if I can find the time ( ) there should be the first of a new music-themed feature on the club website. Then, this evening, I am running a no pub pub-quiz for friends. For me though, the highlight of the last two weeks has been Chairman Bruce getting to grips with video conferencing. It will be interesting to see how many organisations reduce their number of "real" meetings when this is all over to hold more online. Finally, just a word for any of our more elderly or vulnerable supporters. If you are struggling and need help, don't be afraid to ask us. I can't promise we would be able to help but we do have a few volunteers who have offered help with shopping or just talk on the phone. I hope everyone is keeping safe.

I'm spending 10 hours each day homeschooling/caring/cooking for/cleaning up after children who are too young to understand what's going on, need to be CONSTANTLY engaged in activities or they have tantrums and fight, followed by logging on for a 7-hour shift at work. 7am to midnight, no breaks except weekends. (Husband is a critical worker so isn't available to lend a hand during the day.) Anyone who's bored can swap with me

What does your husband do for a living? I work in logistics and distribution so therefore am considered a key frontline worker.
Sorry but I couldn't swap! But what a marvellous job you must be doing. My hours have been cut but other than doing what I've mentioned in another thread I can't assist!
Stay safe and well.

As an NHS employee (Brain Surgeon) I'm lucky to be employed. However I'm being redeployed this week to do something more important (No I'm not really a brain surgeon) and have had to forego Bank Holidays Good Friday and Easter Monday.
I'm interested in your virtual pub and quiz though Dave.
