Very swag! Anyone know the answer to this. Have we ever played in an away kit before that wasn't at least half white? (That away game at Thurrock doesn't count!)

We did have a second kit that was a copy of Coventry's (?) brown kit

Very smart looking designs - my first ever Sutton United jersey was the green/white quartered shirt from 98/99 and 99/00 so I'm very much interested in next season's away number! Good work

Well the centenary away kit wasn't 50% white as it had black shorts. We did wear white shorts on occasisons but the official short colour was black.
The Coventry kit as Dave F said was late 70s.
Prior to that when the home team changed we did wear red shirts in the 1950s but I think we went all white after that until that awful Coventry kit.

I think both are very smart! Its nice to have a different away kit to always having mostly white away kits. I shall be buying the away top some time..👍

I'm sure we had a brief spell in the early 1980s when we wore blue shirts and black shorts in away games when a change was needed. It was just after we'd had the Argentina style light blue and white stripes.

Sorry Tony, yes I do recall that kit. More embarrassingly for me I have one of the shirts!

The green colour goes back to the early 1930s when Sutton changed their kit from chocolate and amber for a couple of seasons.
That is why the away centenary shirts were green and white.
As for my preference for white that is because they are easier to pick out under floodlights as well as for aesthetic reasons.
