Superb stuff Dave. My thanks go to your and all of the people involved for all the hard work you have done, which in my opinion and given the circumstances has been faultless.

Certainly the lengths that Dave & company are going in order to abide by the rules and satisfy the relevant officials and authorities are beyond reproach.
Maybe the requirements at lower levels than us aren’t as stringent, but at the game I went to on Tuesday night, Broadbridge Heath v Raynes Park Vale, things were a bit haphazard really. The attendance there was 210, which is about double their usual figure. There were no seats in the stand taped off, although the fans that sat there did seem to show some common sense with regard to social distancing. The clubroom had no one-way system in operation and was quite busy, but fortunately it’s fairly large which helped matters. A sizeable amount of fans were assembled just outside the clubhouse watching the game with no thought of distancing at all, which was a little worrying. I feel that the stewards should have been trying to spread them out a bit. I imagine gates at that level will probably decrease a bit before long, which may not be a bad thing with regard to potential Covid transmission, and clubs will no doubt have some lessons to learn with each game played.
