I'm not sure I have ever started one of these before ! Firstly, if you going to the game today I hope you enjoy the return of the lads in Amber & Chocolate and have a great day. Please stay safe, remember that the rules are there for a reason and are to protect others. As we have said before, observing the guidance at away games will be a factor in having a licence for crowds at home games. If you are not travelling today, the link to watch the live stream free of charge is now on our home page

Visuals on the live feed are great, although the sound keeps cutting in and out every few seconds...

Sound issues are now resolved, sterling work! Loving the new jade away kit, will be making a purchase when the shop's open. Better game than Tuesday already, triallists look promising..

Ongoing issues with the sound cutting out in the second half, but a vast improvement on Tuesday's feed.

A little bit of buffering just before kick off, but otherwise sound and video were both ok for me. Just need to keep the big fluffy mic out of shot

Any feedback welcome from anyone who watched the free live stream.
We also ran a parallel pay to view trial for a handful of volunteers and that worked really well, with no problems regarding receipt of codes or logging into the feed.

Not sure if anything changed for this time but worked on both my iPad and and iPhone. The Eastbourne game wouldn’t work on either.
Well done.

A warm afternoon in north London for U's first match not BCD since March 14th. The difference to playing in a near empty GGL on Tuesday night was obvious. Even a gate of just c200 for a pre-season friendly felt so more like a football match than what is the current norm for home NL club matches. The home fans in one corner of the stand were vocal and U's fans reciprocated.
Probably U's best turn out for an away PSF since the days of playing at Colston Ave (around 140) or maybe K's but a great effort to travel to a ground that lies in the middle of the nearest two train connections. The walk from WHL station was simple and nigh on deserted pedestrian wise.
Haringey's ground is the wrong end of the scale to the futuristic place built the other end of WHL but they have come a fair way in recent seasons and while the area we was given didn't probably lend itself to social distancing in the proper sense, the stewards were welcoming and on the ball and I never felt "unsafe" - helped by the warmth and open air conditions. (Time will only tell of course if safety in numbers proves correct).
As for the match. The hosts started well firing in a couple of decent efforts that Dean B dealt with. U's aerial ability in both boxes proved crucial. Boro's delivery was decent but no one ever looked like getting on the end of it while first Tobi S-S headed on for a trialist (or was it Trialist A?) to convert with a close range header and then Louis J rose to set up TSS with a finish of his thigh or some part of the higher leg. 2-0 at h-t.
Late in the game U's had a couple of chances with trialist B (or was it C or even D?) placing over an open goal after Calum K's effort had been saved by the home 'keeper.
It was competitive and U's certainly looked sharper than they did Tuesday night even if the oppo was a step down. I though their left back had a decent game and they was lively going forward.
God knows when the next match U's play will have a crowd of any description. That will be up to Boris and his so-called boffins but I fear for the start of the new season already.

Good to savour a matchday atmosphere after a six-month break, and let's hope we can enjoy more of the same next month in competitive fixtures.
Like us Harringay are a community club with a 3G pitch, and it was nice to see their Chairman come round at the end of the game and thank the visiting fans for attending. Can't see that happening in a certain stadium off the eastern end of White Hart Lane.
Possession was fairly even, two set pieces proving the difference between the two sides as a corner then a free kick led to our two goals. New striker Tobi Sho-Silva will be pleased with an assist and a goal.
Dundo notched up yet another appearance, coming on again as a centre back in the second half.
Our squad today included several triallists, one of whom scored the opening goal. Another had to be helped off the field late on after a robust challenge and I hope is OK.

Really enjoyed my afternoon at Haringey yesterday (a first visit to Coles Park for me), as mentioned on social media - their volunteers were really welcoming and hospitable to our supporters, I wish them well for their season in the Bostik Premier.
A first viewing of our squad (I couldn't access the stream last Tuesday) and I thought we put in a good performance overall with some decent fitness levels being displayed - it was a physical, competitive encounter for a pre-season friendly. Solid in defence (I think a back five of Bouzanis, Barden, John, Rowe and Wyatt will be how we line-up against Maidenhead on the 3rd given injuries to Goodliffe and Milsom), Bouzanis' distribution was very impressive getting us on the front foot several times in the first half. At the other end, Ajiboye made some great penetrating runs and Sho-Silva linked up well with the trailist striker I felt - both of whom got on the scoresheet.
Around the hour mark we made a raft of changes including a fair few trialists, there was also some minutes late on for academy lad Jayden Hoosang-Robinson.
Hopefully the squad haven't picked up any further knocks as there's a quick turnaround for Tuesday and a home friendly against Dulwich.

Not much to add in terms of the match, but from a personal point of view it was really lovely to see the fans again. After months of lockdown seeing familiar faces both on and off the pitch warmed my heart as much as the lovely weather warmed us all physically. That was worth the journey alone and what happened on the pitch was a bonus.
