Disappointing, but Covid-related postponements are now becoming commonplace. Ours is one of three National League fixtures postponed from tomorrow because of coronavirus infections (the others being Aldershot v Notts Co and Halifax v Wealdstone).
With us out of the FA Cup, the first team's next competitive game isn't now until 14 November (home to King's Lynn). The two-and-half week break at least gives the injured players a decent recovery window.

Keeping players match-fit and "engaged" during extended periods of inactivity is going to be a big factor in how teams perform this season.

I haven't checked, but are there any matches we might be able to bring forward to fill one of the empty slots? It seems like it would be a good idea to get as many matches played early on as possible since we don't know how the season will pan out with postponements etc.

If there are 2 fit squads ready to play when their games have been cancelled due to the virus within their planned opposition then get it on if possible. Guess practicalities such as bookings can get in the way but generally hotels/travel companies should also be flexible. |

Would say a definite argument to bring forward Saturday games too, every possibility they can be filled down the line as postponements come thick and fast. If you have 2 healthy squads with no game get it on I say! |

Best get as many games out of the way as possible. Yes I realise that but that would be the first place to look. The next would be the Saturdays where FA Cup and the later stages of the FA Trophy occur |

Just an observation but after yesterday’s results and also after watching the BBC live results it’s funny how Sutton ended up in the same position without playing a game👍
