No, and it CERTAINLY isn't banana's. It hurt me to type that. As for brackets I can think of a few with locations in brackets such as Newport (IOW) and I think there are one or two with a formation year in brackets although I don't remember who off the top of my head. However I'm pretty sure there is currently only one senior club whose name STARTS with a number - anyone? (And I don't mean Two-ting and Mitcham, I mean actual numerals) Darlington (1898) I may be wrong with the year though. Darlington dropped the year in their name and are just Darlington FC now. There is a club called 1874 Northwich, formed by disgruntled Northwich Victoria supporters (there’s also an 1876 Bangor but they are in Wales).

1874 Northwich it is, founded in...er...2012.
Bangor wouldn't count anyway because their official name is Bangor 1876; the year doesn't come first.

Bangor wouldn’t count as they are in Wales playing in the Welsh system. I’m guessing the Northwich situation is similar to the Darlington and Enfield situations (Enfield FC were Enfield 1893 between reforming in 2007 and this summer), trying to make a claim to the Football heritage of their town.

That's right, they couldn't use Victoria because of a potential lawsuit so they decided to take the year as a different way of linking the new club with their history.
