Best seasonal wishes to all associated with Sutton United. Let's hope that 2021 will be a better year for everyone - and that the 'old normal' will once again become the normal.

Happy Christmas everybody. I hope you’re all able to have an enjoyable day, even if it may not be quite how it normally is.

I've never spent a Christmas alone. And I'm sure a lot of other people haven't either. I'm not trying to illicit sympathy by any stretch of the imagination but I am kind of at a loss.
As was implied in a post in another thread regarding Matt Hancock and what he said that we will hopefully be normal by 2022, yes, stupid or honest. No idea.
Anyway, please have a wonderful Christmas one and all.

I may live to regret this but.......
For any Sutton supporter feeling lonely tomorrow, either because you are on your own or simply want to exchange a few words with fellow U's fans, then I will set up a 15-minute Zoom call at 10:00 am. If you would like to join in, PM me and I will send you the link.
Merry Christmas

Belated Christmas wishes to all at SUFC ; supporters and club officials and volunteers. I was alone yesterday like a lot of people as the announcement by the PM a week ago cancelled my plans.
Thanks to one of my nephews (who is over in Nairobi at the moment)I have been on social media of various names for quite a while now.
I had video calls; non video calls and numerous messages. I have never had so many calls in one day so did not feel lonely.
My one failure is getting on with the Zoom video conferencing or such. My deficient hearing cannot cope.
I miss the comaraderie of being on the terraces amongst my fellow SUFC supporters, home and away. I am so grateful that the club made it possible to attend two home matches recently. That meant a lot.
Wishing everyone a better and brighter year next year. For those who have lost someone dear to them, may you find some comfort and inner peace as time goes on, and all, may you keep safe . We will get back to following our beloved football team on the terraces again. May these elbow 'greetings' then be confined to history!
