Saw that. Thought we had signed another winger a few months ago.

Looks a quality player! So good competition for places and scores goals. So good luck at the “mighty Us”.

I remember Steve Browne in the 90s, and had no idea he'd passed away. Made me thinking about father/son (or even grandson) who have played for Sutton. Obviously he's the 2nd one in the squad (with Goodliffe), but I can't think of too many. I think Larry Pritchards son played in the reserves for us, but I'm sure there are a few of you on here who could say more!

Larry's son, Warren, made first team appearances as did Ted Shepherd's son, Dave; he scored in a 4 1 win at Kettering.

This was being discussed yesterday just before we announced the signing, and we also came up with Bob and Paul Adam and, going back a bit, Jan and Micky Sorenson. One other combination to add is Keith and Anthony Blunt - the latter played a few games in the 1992-93 season. However we also have a case of a father and two sons playing - Alan Sunnucks played in the late 1950s and sons Ray and Andy were first team players in the early 1980s. As a sideline, there was one game in that spell where we fielded three sets of brothers in the same game (I think at Croydon). John and Tony Rains, Mark and Nigel Golley, and Ray and Andy Sunnucks.
