Another tough game this weekend, this time against 3rd place Hartlepool. The home side are in a good run of form winning their last four home games and sit 2nd in the form table. Amazingly the fans on their forum are not optimistic. LINK HERESutton will be missing Eastmond who is suspended. Match preview link

Not to be. Nothing in it really but 0-1 loss for those not watching. They had a couple of chances to add to it as we had to open up a bit more. We had half chances but couldn’t find the bit of quality needed. Don’t see Hartlepool troubling Torquay. I’d fancy Stockport to end up being their threat if anyone. Lots of positives defensively from last couple away to the highest teams other than us. Barely given them a sniff of goal (until we needed to force it a little). Tuesday is going to be very hard, I’m struggling to be optimistic in terms of a result there. Thanks to the players and management for their efforts once more!

Agreed, a tight game that could have gone either way. This was Hartlepool's first win against us in seven encounters. Each side had a few shots just off-target. For me our MOTM was Harry, doing some sterling defensive work and narrowly wide with a first-half strike from outside the area then again with a late header.
We slip to fourth but are only two points behind Pools in 2nd with two games in hand.
Stockport won 4-1 at Woking and go third on the basis of having scored one goal more than us. Tuesday night's game, if it happens, will be a big challenge.

Thank's too A.B for the commentary to day, very 'good. We go again, with still two games in hand.

Close game that could have gone either way but as soon as we start making substitutions I see our chance of scoring slipping away. If you are chasing the game you need players like Oloafe, Bugiel or Randall to come on. We do not have quality or game changers on the bench.

I think Randall had taken a knock. Harry had good chances he was unable to convert but we go again at Stockport and i'm sure we can match them if the travelling hasn't taken too much of a toil.

I think our performances deserved more than just a single point from Torquay and Hartlepool, but the truth is you don't win matches if you don't score. Our defence has done its job in conceding just one goal, but when we needed that goal it just hasn't happened.
3pts at Stockport will make everything look a lot better.
