At the earliest for fans back in the stadium. Unreal given we were back briefly before Christmas. This plan seems very very cautious given the vaccine roll out.

At least there's now some sort of timescale. We just need to hope that things carry on in the way they've been going for the last few weeks. Just as importantly, for the club and non league football as a whole, there could be more clarity in what support could be offered over what time. All being well we could be back for the last few games of the season. And if the season on the pitch carries on the way it has been it could be a very special end of season.

Seems silly that there is no reduced capacity allowance before that day like we had before Christmas and we instead go straight from 0 to 10000. Oh well, at least we have at least one home game to look forward to

Oh well, at least we have at least one home game to look forward to I think there was a caveat about capacity mentioned from when opening up happens. As an aside, the London Borough of Sutton finally dipped below a rolling case rate of below 100 today, for the first time since mid-October, and compare that to the level it was when we last went to GGL (around 500) and a peak of 1100 at the end of December.

50% capacity from 17 May I believe.
We could get c2,500 for the home match v Hartlepool (potentially a crucial game) on Sat 22nd.

I read 4,000 capacity with up to 10,000 for larger stadiums. What is it with Hartlepool? Last home game before first lockdown and now first game after final lockdown? Could be massive or could be all over by then.

I assume we will be able to get some income from renting out the 3G before that though.

The actual wording on gov. Uk is 25 % of seated capacity or 10000 whichever is the lower.
In our case that’s virtually nobody as we have less than 1000 seats.

This plan seems very very cautious given the vaccine roll out. that was my first reaction but then again the reason it is taking this long is that we didn't lock down tough enough back in the autumn. the good news is that it looks like the last game of the season will be possible and of course any play off matches after that. anyone know the dates for the playoffs by the way?

The actual wording on gov. Uk is 25 % of seated capacity or 10000 whichever is the lower. In our case that’s virtually nobody as we have less than 1000 seats. As we are not a "seated venue" (as in all seated) I doubt very much that will apply to us. Also we wouldn't be a large capacity venue. Here's all the wording about this: Some large events, including conferences, theatre and concert performances and sports events. Controlled indoor events of up to 1,000 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity, whichever is lower, will be permitted, as will outdoor events with a capacity of either 50% or 4,000 people, whichever is lower. The Government will also make a special provision for large, outdoor, seated venues where crowds can be safely distributed, allowing up to 10,000 people or 25% of total seated capacity, whichever is lower. In addition, pilots will run as part of the Events Research Programme to examine how such events can take place without the need for social distancing using other mitigations such as testing
