I think there has been far less “comment “ on the the fact we have a “plastic pitch” from our opposition, be that managers and fans as an excuse for losing to us this year .... when more sides than ever have had the privilege! With so many games played on it last season with Harrogate Bromley and us and the two sides this year everyone has got us to it and is old news . Perhaps our relative lack of injuries is because of it training and playing on it and opposition are finally realising it’s a leveller and allows teams to play rather than a sticky quagmire

0-0.  Fair result. Chances were at a premium for both sides. Easty screwed a shot just wide towards the end of the first half and Omar’s header near the end almost won it. It’s further evidence of how difficult we are to beat.

Dire game. Wrexham were well organised defensively, had done their homework and snuffed us out out wide. We didn't threaten much. Nor did they. Looked like a 0-0 from quite early on bar a mistake or set piece goal. Not one for the cameras! Think they are one of the more direct sides we've face, relying on going long to their front 2, who we dealt with pretty well. Other than them they had no real threat, hard to see how their goals will be created.

We'll take the point and we're in good shape.

Not as many times as Adam Virgo says “final third”

He managed 6 'Final thirds' in the first half and 3 in the second.  Can you exchange 9 final thirds for 3 G pitches by repainting some with a centre circle to make them middle thirds?

There was quite a bit of tension in this fixture, which seemed to inhibit both sides. Our delivery into the box was pretty poor. Wrexham were solid, but there wasn't much Hollywood stardust sprinkled over their play.

Omar had a great chance to win the game for us at the death but headed straight at the keeper.

I'm not too disappointed with the point. Going top invites extra pressure. Sometimes it's better to be tucked in just behind the leaders and let them feel the strain.

We do of course have another opportunity to top the table on Tuesday.

We are in a good position with games in hand and Torquay finding it hard to pick up points. Three points on Tuesday will see a return of 7 from 9 for our last three games. Not a shoddy return.

I don't care we are not top after 23 games. We can be not top right up to game 43 if we like. As long as we are after game 44 (assuming Dover are still here). That is all that matters.

I thought Wrexham were well organised at the back but a little composure from us may well have undone them.

Still, joint top of the table with only 1 goal of goal difference separating us.

Torquay are struggling at present.
