I was listening to a phone-in the other day where some Liverpool fans were calling for Klopp to be sacked (having won the Champions League and the Premier League in the previous two seasons). I can certainly recall some people on this board calling for both our incumbent manager and our previous manager to be sacked in the past - but I was wondering if Sutton ever have sacked a manger - and if so, when was the last time? I think our incumbent manager is pretty safe at the moment - just hope that we can satisfy his ambition and keep him.

Don't they usually leave "by mutual consent"?

Ernie Howe no. His contract said it would be cancelled if Sutton were relegated. As soon as that was confirmed that clause kicked in.
I don't even think Ian Hazell was sacked. It's not a Sutton thing to do.
