Never thought that I would be cheering both Eastleigh and Boreham Wood on.
Both on the same day too which is unfathomable.

Think we were fortunate on balance to get all 3 points - we do miss Olafae and the pace of Ajaboye - will need them at Chesterfield on Tuesday

King's Lynn have 50 year-old keeper Paul Bastock on the bench. 😮 Blimey remember him from years and years ago.

Annoyingly lost feed a couple of times and had to log back in. Missed the ability to run the channels today with no pace in the team but we still got three points.

No commentary for about the first minute of the second half but all good other than that

With two of our most potent attacking players missing, I'm sure we're all happy with a 1-0 away win.
Great run and pass from Omar to set up Donovan Wilson for a precise finish. We hope that will be the first of many goals in a Sutton shirt.
With Hartlepool (reduced to ten men again) only managing a 0-0 at home to Eastleigh, we go four points clear at the top. Torquay would reduce that lead to three points this evening if they win at Boreham Wood (where they won 4-0 in the Trophy earlier this season).

Torquay are nil-nil at the break. They were awarded a fairly soft penalty after half an hour, but Nathan Ashmore did us a favour with an excellent save. It's an even game so far. Could go either way.

A good three points on not the best surface we will encounter for the rest of the season and with a strong wind blowing down the pitch.
Today was a banana-skin of a fixture but the team dug in, scored a decent goal with one of the few openings either side fashioned and the coach journey home will be better for it.
Their streaming was decent, the commentary not too bad although did start to get a bit one sided towards the end.
The Walks boasts an impressive old school Southern League stand but from what we could see not much else with one end flat standing with the car park behind. A decent view from the road behind for those not wanting to shell out £22 in any future visits.

Still a long way to go though. On to Tuesday with a nice cushion at the top.

I thought Boreham Wood were very impressive tonight with pace, power and athleticism. I enjoyed that game.

We are certainly grinding out the results recently but at the ned of the day, 3 points is 3 points! well done to the team!
I for one was not that impressed with the viewing experience considering the charge of £12. Apart from the (IMO) daft decision to play in the green away kit against a team in blue, with the bright sunny conditions, it meant that, when the camera was on a wide shot and the play on the far side of the pitch, it was very hard to distinguish one team from the other. In addition the director/camera guy seemed to have no idea when to zoom and when pan back to wide shot. Some of the time he appeared to be asleep as the camera didn't keep up with the play and he cut to his pitch side view at exactly the wrong time. Frustrating!
All that said... the league standings make for pleasant reading tonight!
