Good win to churn out. Feared the worse for much of that! Hope Olaofe and Ajiboye injuries aren’t serious. Another tough one next.

Yes i found it difficult to distinguish the colours on the screen but only endured it for 50 mins then buffered for the rest. £12 but hey ho we won so it was all worth it. A very biased Radio Norfolk kept me informed.

We are certainly grinding out the results recently but at the ned of the day, 3 points is 3 points! well done to the team! I for one was not that impressed with the viewing experience considering the charge of £12. Apart from the (IMO) daft decision to play in the green away kit against a team in blue, with the bright sunny conditions, it meant that, when the camera was on a wide shot and the play on the far side of the pitch, it was very hard to distinguish one team from the other. In addition the director/camera guy seemed to have no idea when to zoom and when pan back to wide shot. Some of the time he appeared to be asleep as the camera didn't keep up with the play and he cut to his pitch side view at exactly the wrong time. Frustrating! All that said... the league standings make for pleasant reading tonight! Have to agree with the Cheshire Cat (as apposed to the Sally Cat). if that had been a night game I wouldn't have been able to distinguish the teams at all. At it was, it was still hard watching.

For some reason I thought KL played in yellow shorts and socks, sort of like an upside down Torquay strip. If that were the case it would have made perfect sense for us to wear that kit. I was thinking anyone with slightly impaired vision or colour blindness would have REALLY struggled with that one - I am lucky enough to have excellent eyesight and I still had a bit of a hard time with it.
But if we're complaining about stuff like that, well, that's a lot better than having anything else to complain about isn't it?

I just need to correct that. BBC local radio stations have an agreement with the National League for the right to broadcast live commentary on league games, regardless of whether they cover the home or away side, and the clubs are not allowed to deny them. So BBC Norfolk had a contractual right to cover the game at Sutton, just as they have a contractual right to cover today's. King's Lynn didn't do a club commentary on the game at Sutton in November, and we have not yet had an instance of a club that did a live commentary from our ground trying to deny us the same facility at the away game. Thank you for clarifying that, all clubs are covered by the same agreement as I stated, and that there are not different arrangements for individual clubs. BBC commentary does not preclude individual club commentaries of matches, as I belief this was the case vs Wrexham when BBC Wales covered the match as did SUFCtv. I am not sure which clubs have done what, only that we should have reciprocal agreements in place to insure fair play.

We made hard work of that didn't we. To be fair to Kings Lynn they could have got something out of today if they had a player that could hit a donkey's arse with a banjo.
The commentary on the stream cracked me up. Firstly, it's the first time I've heard the chairman being the co-commentator. Yes, I can imagine SCR doing that, but the National League? Bit tinpot that. Then hearing their slow descent into turning themselves into the old Harrow Borough twitter feed (passive aggressive, victim mentally and just bizarre comments. Well worth the 12 quid!
Otherwise we march on!

The commentary did include some kind words about our club officials, but also revealed a lack of basic research about the club itself (e.g. struggling to remember that our ground is known as Gander Green Lane). I also thought I picked up a gratuitous pro-Brexit comment right at the start. 🙄

Some of the commentary was decidedly on the cringeworthy side, and the lack of homework was glaringly obvious: "Is the lad from Millwall playing today?" being a case in point, and for the last ten minutes or so it degenerated into two crimson-faced men whinging about timewasting. By then, any attempt at non-partisanship was well and truly out of the window!
Saying that, the Norfolk accent is rather soothing on the ear, and I never tired of hearing some of the player name pronunciations, especially "Bootyman" and "Boogle". Plus they said some highly complimentary things about our manager, praising him as a man of great integrity (apparently, Matt Gray declined to be even interviewed for the Northampton post, if the rumour mill is to be believed), so they can be forgiven, in part at least.
It can't be easy supporting a struggling club during especially tough times, and I wish them well. At least they're giving it their best shot unlike some I could mention, cough cough Dover.

I'd agree with you on the fact that King's Lynn are admirable for carrying on. Much praise must also go to Barnet who haven't moaned and grumbled compared to the likes of Dover. I don't know how they voted on how the season ended and I'm sure that the fact relegation is pretty much not going happen played a part. Anyway, back to the game a great result. 1-0 might not sound like a resounding one but a win is a win and *the pub team from Surrey with a tinpot ground march on and go four points clear at the top of the table. *not my opinion, but the most important thing in that is factually correct.

Odds as low as 1/2 now for Sutton to become champions.
At this stage of the season that’s insane!

Well done lads! Ground that result out and now have a nice small gap at the top, so on wards and up wards.
