To add 50% of the advertised added on time when the previous 45 mins attracted less than 10% is bizarre. Generally, each substitution is given 30 seconds. We made two which is one minute. The fact that Omar left the pitch at his nearest exit more than suggests 30 seconds for his departure was far too much. The ref looked at his watch and looked to blow before they put the ball in to win the corner but allowed time for the set piece. The match actually finished into the 7th minute. Where the hell did the extra 2.5 come from? Matt G wasn't too concerned about it after. I was. It was a highly competitive, entertaining match that deserved a better referee. The Stockport players were very vocal towards him throughout. Some of their claims lacked credibility and were laughable. However, they are a damn good side although I am not sure their ridiculously expensive new signing started to pay off the outlay today. Their right back on the other hand was outstanding. After some of the exchanges following the game at Chesterfield, one as to enjoy the irony of some of the comments on this thread, but the above 5th paragraph, takes the biscuit. That's ok Sol.
He is either sad enough to read threads about matches he has little interest in or just bored in lockdown.
Perhaps, like a good deal of their squad he has been furloughed (although quite how that works when there core activity is still continuing is a puzzle).
As for that biscuit, I bet you hope it was a custard cream.

Not quite, laid up after a very dodgy replacement knee op., a touch bored yes but hopefully up and running! by the time the pubs are reopened. When I eventually saw the timing of Stockports goal, I obviously wondered what the reaction (after Tuesday's) on here would be to the added time decision. I originally came on here pre-match for team news, (I rate Beutyman) and couldnt let the comparison of our and CUFC grounds go unchallenged. Cheers. |

They have some good highlights from a different angle to our usual home picture - the main stand. Again shows up a terrible interview post match with their manager. 2 blatant penalties = clutching at straws. Another one living in cuckoo land.
