I'm sorry but I'm getting really fed up with the interviews now and i think Matt is too. Please get your facts right.
The other day Matt had to correct Ahmed saying we beat Ebbsfleet 2-0 not 1-0. Tonight it's 13 games unbeaten and claiming Altrincham is in Lancashire. It really is getting quite tiresome that the interviewer can't even get the basic facts right.
Sorry to moan but it's about time something was said. I know a lot of fans feel the same way.

This is just a theory on my part, but I suspect that Matt has more important things to worry about than the respective locations of towns relative to county borders, like maintaining a viable promotion challenge, for example.

Matt has admitted to being a 'stats man', and I imagine that's something he takes pride in and which helps him to manage the team effectively. If you're going to throw numbers at him then it's advisable to make sure they're correct.

Nah, I like Ahmed, and I think Matt does too. He makes me laugh.
Much prefer him to the dry sufctv commentator last night.

None of that is incompatible with wanting him to stop making very basic errors that make him look unprofessional and ignorant (which I'm not saying he is, just that the lack of care makes him look that way). Personally I find it embarrassing and I'm absolutely sure the guy is capable of better

Tony Dolbear I think that was - he was brilliant conducting the post-match interviews where they always used to flow well and he used to just pull stats out of the blue (probably because he researched before the interview took place). I feel Ahmed just needs to prep more before commentaries and interviews. I’m still cringing at his line from January where he claimed we’d never played Altrincham before 🤦🏼♂️. |

Yep that’s another example. Ahmed is a lovely guy but getting the basics wrong is just not good enough. You can’t defend the indefensible. You just have to read on social media what fans from other clubs think. Yet we have some amazing people at this club that are top notch at this but don’t get used enough. I saw comments re Connor last night that were very complimentary by the way |
