I see that the Tweet aforementioned came from Towcester so perhaps they meant 'Woburn' instead of 'Woking'. I've heard that the Safari Park is quite a big draw.

Southend United chairman Ron Martin feels it is unfair teams have been relegated from League TwoRON Martin has revealed a proposal has been made to the EFL following Southend United's relegation from League Two. The Shrimpers have been relegated alongside Grimbsy Town after another miserable season. But Martin is unhappy relegation has been allowed from League Two and not the National League "A proposal has been submitted to the English Football League and it will be discussed at next week’s EFL meeting," said Martin. "Ultimately it will be spoken about at the AGM on June 10th too. "Grimsby and us feel that the unusual circumstances of this year should be acknowledged. "The National League haven’t relegated but they have promoted and the way it’s pitched at the moment it's unfair to relegate clubs from League Two." "We're looking at the rules." Martin also conformed the proposal had been submitted by Grimsby with input from the Shrimpers. www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/19285345.southend-united-chairman-ron-martin-feels-unfair-teams-relegated-league-two/

As NLS and NLN did not complete the season there can be no promotion from these leagues so why would teams from the National League be relegated? This smacks of desperation. The answer is to play better throughout the season.

Torquay are 0-0 with Bromley at half-time. They’re probably waiting until the 101st minute to get the winner!

Dropped points for Torquay!!! Nil-nil at Plainmoor. They nearly won it in stoppage time as well. The Bromley keeper saved it with his legs from point blank range.

Torquay's big match at Stockport next weekend has been switched to the Sunday, to be shown live on BT Sport. We play twice before then, so a big opportunity, not just to take over top spot, but to put huge pressure on the Gulls to get a result up in Manchester.

This has been a GOOD day. Imagine...the league is in Sutton's hands with 4 games to go.
Not a banker for Stockport on Tuesday.
Come on boys...do the job!

Here's the lowdown. Win three of our four remaining games and Stockport can't catch us. If Torquay lose at Edgeley Park then three wins would be enough for us to finish above them. If Torquay draw with Stockport then three wins could still deliver us the title on goal difference.
