Can't believe no one has started this? Is it a must win, is a point a decent return from an out of form County? 5pm KO just plain daft so I will watch it at a more sensible time @8.30 I should think, at least you can fast forward any scary bits

A point from this game would (just) keep us in the driving seat. So not a 'must win'. Hard to believe that we're talking about a win at Meadow Lane (would be our first ever victory over Notts), but, given their recent form (no win in six matches, four of them defeats), it wouldn't be a huge surprise if we did it.
BT Sport are of course showing the Champions League game between Man City and PSG tomorrow evening, hence the rather odd kick-off time for our match. Perhaps we should be grateful that they made space in the schedule for us. They clearly see a story around the fixture.

No doubt there will be a fair few Torquay, Stockport and Pools fan tuning in to see us lose, so lets put in a show that says "we deserve to be in the top 4 and we aren't going away". So no comedy defending like the first 10 mins vs Eastleigh please!
A draw would still be a good result although can you see anything other than another Fergie Time winner for the Gulls vs Bromley on Sat?

Notts haven't won in 6 now, their last league win was a month ago at Woking. Most of those were away from home, and their last home win was on Good Friday against Wrexham. Back then, they were considered to be rivals for the top spot. Since them their form has tanked so much, they are now unable to win the league mathematically, and a win for us tonight will mean they can't overtake us. If my maths is right, I think a win for us will confirm a play off spot today, although my maths can be off at times

6 to go - 3 away & 3 home.
Can’t wait for 16:30.
Nice bit of tea and football.

If my maths is right, I think a win for us will confirm a play off spot today, although my maths can be off at times I think we're already there. Outside the top 7, only Notts can match or better our 72 points and they have to play Bromley twice and Wrexham which will mean that one, two or all three of them won't be able to hit 72.

Not much good for the overseas Ambers Mixlr it is.

So County have won their last 5 home games when they've been live on BT and we have a poor record this season when on TV and of course we've never beaten County. I have everything crossed that changes tonight.
I would imagine Milsom is missing tonight which is a real shame as he would have liked to play against his former club.
I assume Wyatt will come back into the squad but will he replace Simpson? House to be on the bench again?

Don't forget you can watch all BT Sport matches on Bet365, albeit on a tiny screen but it's better than owt and enables you to follow the action whilst listening to the commentary on mixlr.

If you're watching south of the equator you'll need to turn your mobile upside down.

You're right, to all realistic outcomes, we're in the playoffs, but going through the sums, I think a win tonight will actually confirm that mathematically we can't finish lower than 4th. As we are there, it's worth thinking about dates for that too. 4-7th play off dates are the weekend of 5th June, then the play off semis weekend of 12th June, with the play off final being 19th June. All of those dates etc are a little flexible due to BT sport's schedule. The only issue is that the final may not be at Wembley. Euro 2020 games are set to be there on 13th, 18th and 22nd June and it may be that the final is moved to a premier league ground not involved in the Euros. I've heard an unconfirmed rumour that the King Power has been approached as a "back up" but no decision has yet been made.

We must go into this with a fair bit of confidence. We’ve recovered well from close defeats and put back to back wins together. Our forwards have now all got a recent goal to their name and hopefully at least 1 can get on a little hot streak just at the right time.

The play-offs are a lottery-it's the title we have to aim for!

Didn't realise that County's assistant coach was sacked unexpectedly yesterday. Their fans are speculating on an internal case of Gross Misconduct? From a morale point of view it could go either way.
